OGDENSBURG — Three men were recognized for their contributions to Ogdensburg’s historic Fort De La Présentation recently.
The honors were given during Fort De La Présentation’s annual dinner and award ceremony held Jan. 17 at the Ogdensburg Elks Club.
The Joseph Consentino Award for “Special Recognition for Generous Commitment of Self and Resources to the Fort De La Présentation Project” was bestowed upon David D. Austin.
David Fishel received the David L. Dickinson Annual Volunteer Award for “Outstanding Commitment of Time and Effort to Fort De La Présentation.”
James “Andy” Rymph was honored with the Persis Yates Boysen Award for “Outstanding contribution to sponsor the historically accurate reconstruction and ongoing presence of Fort La Présentation.”
