Arch installed in Canton

A decorative arch has been installed in downtown Canton.A ribbon cutting for the arch, located in Prentice Lane, will take place Friday, June 27. Canton’s TAUNY said in a prepared statement that the arch “represents the traditions, values, and landscapes of our wonderful North Country.” The arch was designed by artist James Gonzalez, and was funded through grants from New York State Homes and Community Renewal, Brookfield Renewables, the Canton Community Fund, the New York State Council on the Arts.
