To the Editor:

With the cost of everything going up, up, up, many families will once again find this holiday season challenging providing food and gifts for children.

The Norfolk Raymondville Food Pantry would like to remind families in the Norwood, Norfolk, Raymondville area that the applications for the Norwood Norfolk Raymondville Outreach Christmas Program applications are now available at the three post offices. The deadline for turning them in is Nov. 16th. If you receive food from the Norwood Food Pantry, Norfolk Raymondville Food Pantry, or Community Lunch Program for Kids you do not need to complete the financial section. Some families may be eligible to apply to the Potsdam Holiday Fund. Applications (with specific details) are available at businesses throughout Potsdam. Finally, other families who live closer to Massena, may apply to St. Peter’s Outreach (call 315.957.9742 to schedule an appointment). Your home address will determine which program you qualify for.

You may only apply to one Holiday Program.
