MADRID — A women’s skillet toss and tractor parade were among the events held at the St. Lawrence Power and Equipment Museum in Madrid Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.
Other highlights at the museum’s Old Fashioned Harvest Days and Tractor Show included live demonstrations of the blacksmith shop, saw and shingle mill operations, and corn harvesting.
Live reenactors were at Fort Tribute.
A church service was held Sunday morning in the Nevin Church, a recent addition to the museum.
There was also a train display, kids’ pedal tractor pulls, antique car show, pony and horse rides, petting zoo, chicken BBQ, and vendors at the weekend event.
