AMVETS Post 262 Commander Rick Miller presented a $1000 check to Colton Library Director Dennis Eickoff with Library Board President Bill Swafford looking on. This donation will be used to expand the library’s general programming with a focus on offering community members a broader range of opportunities. In the past, the library has focused primarily on several well-attended children’s programs, and now, after experiencing the success of a morning coffee hour for seniors held this winter, the Board would like to begin expanding its reach to a broader audience to include teens and adults, including senior citizens. Watch for programming notes on the Colton Hepburn Library Facebook page as well as in local media. Photo by Lyn Swafford.
