Joyce, age 73, passed away on April 13, 2025 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. Allen, age 72, passed away on April 19, 2025 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital after an unexpected illness.

Allen was born September 2, 1952 in Massena, the son of the late William and Janet (Goodchild) Miller. He was also raised in Massena, graduating from Holy Family High School. He also took courses at Canton ATC. Allen worked in various departments at Alcoa before his retirement. Additionally, he was a licensed real estate agent working with Northrop’s Real Estate and owned and operated a property appraisal business, Miller’s Appraisals.

Allen and Joyce enjoyed camping and traveling-especially cruises. They also had a great love for antique cars and were members of the Massena Car Club. Joyce enjoyed her Sunday drives and feeding and watching the birds. Allen would be often found tinkering in his garage or building something.

Joyce was predeceased by her brothers, William and James Parent and her sisters, Marlene Halstead, Jean Landon, and Joanne Parent.
A celebration of their lives, along with Allen’s mother, Janet who died in December, will be held May 9th at 2:00 PM at the Massena Elks Lodge.
