The part of the SAFE act that worries me is the part where they want to do background checks on all individual sales of firearms. Now the only way that can be accomplished is to register all guns in the country, so that they would be handled the same as say an auto sale between two people. There would be a transfer of a registration, along with the mandatory fees and sales. How else would they ever keep track of the sale of personal weapons? Is this what we want? It’s time to vote in all new representatives. Let’s clean house. They are not working in our best interest on most fronts. Not to mention that criminals will never register their guns.
