The news out of Massena Central is that folks are unhappy with the superintendent. Got a bunch of people signing a petition and voicing their concern that the superintendent is leading the school in the wrong direction, that he is not in touch with reality, that the superintendent cares more about boosting his ego and building his resume. Sounds exactly like Norwood-Norfolk--and just like Norwood-Norfolk the Board of Education won’t listen to the taxpayers. Norwood-Norfolk residents never got a response from the Board about their petition to remove the current superintendent. Why? Maybe the BOEs need to be a little more picky about who they choose to lead their school districts--maybe look a little harder for people who have actually been in administration before and who have experience leading.
