What is up with the Welcome to Potsdam signs? Half of them are crooked on their posts, a few of them have paint coming off. Frankly, I travel to little towns throughout the North Country and their signs are nicer looking, carved out of wood, beautifully painted. I’m wondering if this is how we want to welcome our visitors and students? Maybe some new posts, some flowers planted around them, maybe mow the one past the school. Just suggestions. I don’t know who is responsible for these signs, but they need to go, they are not at all attractive and look like they are falling apart. Any ideas?
