The Seaway Festival is an annual event that people from near and far look forward to each year. Whether or not you feel it is better or not than it has been in the past is irrelevant. It is still a time for family and friends to gather and enjoy each other’s company. Why does it have to be a drunk fest? Can the drinking not wait until you get home or to the bar? As well the mess left after the fireworks is ridiculous. After everyone leaves Library Park, the Greenbelt Area and surrounding streets, it looks as if a bomb has been dropped. It's really a horrible sight. Those leaving their trash all over lack respect for the city they or their family/friends live in. Show some common courtesy save the drinking for the proper time and place and clean up after yourself!
