Do village or town taxes help keep Massena's Town Beach open? It's 90 degrees out. It's gates are locked all the time...people are parking everywhere and I don't blame them, they want to picnic, they want to swim, they are there with their families. What gives? If it's paid for in taxes it should be open. Memorial Day weekend I rode by on my bike, at suppertime, closed. In Malone, if you were a resident of the area, you got in free at Meacham. Here, not only are you supposed to pay but good luck finding it open. Who’s responsible for the poor decision making in regards to this? Oh wait, we can have electronic walk/don't walk signs for who? But no beach? We contemplate a nuclear power plant while Japan's levels continue to rise. Is Massena just stupid in general or have I missed something?
