I just wanted to commend the Eagle Scout who installed the Raquette River Walk signs around Potsdam. I had not heard a thing about this installation, which is a shame, as it adds a wonderful element of history, exploration, and education to the village that was definitely missing along the waterfront. I encourage everyone to take the “Raquette River Walk” sometime soon to discover these signs for yourself! Now all we need in Ives Park is a playground, and it will become a much more popular destination for families and out-of-town visitors!
