I love Halloween, love to see people out in our neighborhood trick or treating...but, here's what I have noticed in my Massena neighborhood: It is no longer anybody from the area, it's people driving in, driving around, parking at the playground and walking, and really, it's a turn off for me. It used to be all the people walking, now it's cars, cars, cars and nobody local. So sorry, it's a turn in a direction I don't support. This year I walked around and enjoyed the costumes of people, but with cars cruising up and down and kids in their purchased overpriced outfits...vs. the old homemade...it has really sunk. Bring back, return to, the older ways for this great holiday!
