I think it’s unfortunate how people react to fear in the North Country, especially when it comes to their jobs. A person who is new to a job and works very hard and is eager should be rewarded, not fired, because of another employee lying, for fear that this individual may be quickly promoted. It’s sad that this fast food restaurant was so afraid of a lawsuit, and fired this person, instead of taking time to get the facts from each party involved. It was totally unprofessional of this business.
