I couldn’t agree more with “Make Them Pay” (Mar. 9-15), about deadbeat dads. Right on, writer. And I second her thought that New York State would be in the black if courts could make the fathers pay their due child support. To take that same thought further, if dads paid, I would be willing to bet food stamps, HEAP and other necessities to help the poor, would not be needed as much, these families would be using the money owed to them in the first place. Think about it St. Lawrence County.
