To the Clarkson employee who said the light on Rt. 11 was essential to safely leave the campus (“Clarkson Light Needed,” Sound Off, March 14-20): exit the campus on Clarkson Avenue. As if Clarkson Avenue is a private road on Clarkson’s campus, the traffic flow on Clarkson Avenue has been destroyed by the multiple crosswalks established for student convenience. One crosswalk would be reasonable; multiple crosswalks is pandering to Clarkson. And now Potsdam police constantly patrol Clarkson Avenue to add more insult to taxpayers’ injury.
