Just what kind of sense does it make to burn a house down in St. Lawrence County, which has a burning ban? This is supposedly training. How do you train to allow a house to burn? Isn’t the idea to stop the home from burning? I’m not allowed to burn a newspaper in my backyard, but it’s okay to burn a complete home? Is it somehow less damaging to the ozone layer to burn a home than it is to burn a cardboard box? Is the St. Lawrence County burning ban some sort of a joke? What’s fair for one is fair for all.
