Every week there is something new to complain about in the Sound Offs. And every week people have different opinions and bicker like children about this or that. Well here’s something I think we can all agree on: most of us are a big bunch of whiners. Yes, I get annoyed when people can’t spell, and yes, I feel that it does make people look down on you. I find hunting disturbing. Big whoop. I’m not going to let these things ruin my life and cause a big stink about them. They are my own opinions and other people have theirs. Maybe, just maybe, if we all tried to be nice and accepting of each other, the North Country would be a nicer place to live. Maybe if we didn’t say “Go back to the city!” or “You can’t spell, you ignorant hick!” we would all enjoy this lovely area a little more. So quit your whining and complaining and just try to be nice to your fellow man. I bet we’d all be a lot happier and the North Country wouldn’t be viewed as a bunch of whining, complaining, inconsiderate driving, poor spelling, name-calling, always correcting, tree-hugging (oh no!), hunter supporting (oh no!) self-absorbed jerks. It can be a miserable place to live or a lovely one, but it’s up to us to make it that way.
