Amber Marie Gooshaw and Travis Everett John Scanlon

Amber Marie Gooshaw and Travis Everett John Scanlon were united in marriage at 1 p.m. July 17, 2010 at St. Andrew’s Church, Norwood, with Msgr. Harry Snow officiating.

Amber is the daughter of Edward and Mary Gooshaw, Potsdam.

Travis is the son of Everett and Jackie Scanlon, Canton.

Lectors at the service were Geraldine Belt and Carol Fries.

The bride’s attendants were maid of honor, Lyndsay Belt, best friend of the bride; bride’s maids were Dayle Yandoh and Kelly Hennessey, friends of bride.

The best man was John Hennessey, best friend of the groom.

Groomsmen were Shawn Gooshaw, brother of the bride and Travis Locy, friend of the groom.

The reception was held at Hounds Haven in Hannawa Falls with Truax Entertainment providing the music.

Photography was taken by Carey White of Carey White Photography, and flowers were provided by Boutique Florist, Potsdam. The cake was made by Patti Dean.

The couple honeymooned in Jamaica.

Amber earned a B.A. in Elementary Education & M.S.Ed. in Educational Technology and is employed by St. Lawrence Lewis BOCES as an Educational Technology Specialist.

Travis earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and is employed as a Mechanical Engineer at Corning Inc.

The couple resides in Potsdam.
