Anita L. Matthie and Nicholas J. Deon, Norwood, were married at 5 p.m. June 29, 2013 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Potsdam with president Jeremiah Curtis officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Roger and Mary Matthie of South Colton.

The groom is the son of Daniel Deon of West Potsdam and Ron and Debbie Rosi of Utica.

Ryan Brothers, cousin of the groom served as best man.

The bride is a 2012 graduate of SUNY Canton with an A.A.S. in criminal justice.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Potsdam Central School and is currently employed at Radio Shack in Potsdam and Massena.

The couple plan to take a honeymoon in a couple years.
