Jevon N. Cree, 23, Morristown

A celebration of life will be held for Jevon N. Cree, age 23, of Morristown, will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Frary Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Calling hours will be held on August 20, 2010 at Frary Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Cree passed away on August 16, 2010 at University Hospital under the watchful eyes and caring hearts of his immediate family. His passing was due to head trauma incurred from injuries sustained in an accidental fall.

Mr. Cree is survived by his parents, Philip and Lisa Cree; one brother, Chad Cree; his paternal grandmother, Ina Cree; one nephew, Camden; and very special aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mr. Cree was born on December 25, 1986 in Ogdensburg, the son of Philip and Lisa (Goldie) Cree. He attended Morristown Central School and BOCES Northwest Tech. In January 2008, Jevon became a member of the United States Marine Corps serving until July 2009. Mr. Cree worked various construction jobs and personal projects.

Among his passions and interest were the St. Lawrence River, snowboarding, skateboarding, and extreme sports and stunts.
