Funeral services for 68 year old Richard M. Trahan, of 180 Adams Road in Norfolk, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Andrew Amyot, pastor officiating. Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk Friday from 6-9 p.m. Burial will be in Stark Cemetery in South Colton.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia of Norfolk; one son and his wife, Richard and Monica Trahan of Colton; one daughter and her husband, Dawn and Rob Sennett of Canandaigua; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Francis Trahan of Watertown.
He was pre-deceased by a grandson, Trevor Trahan.
Born in Watertown, on September 19, 1941, he was the son of Frances and Lenore McEwen. He married Virginia Hall on September 19, 1996. He retired from Xerox Corporation as a technician. After retirement, he had a excavating business and enjoyed working with his heavy equipment and also enjoyed his classic cars. He also owned and operated Nin’s Place in Norfolk for 20 Years. He was a Navy Veteran from 1958-62.
