Wendy Jo Taylor and Troy Allen Miller

MADRID – The family and friends of Wendy Jo Taylor and Troy Allen Miller, both of 2643 St. Hwy 345, Madrid, are pleased to announce their engagement.

The bride’s parents are Roger and Barbara Taylor, Madrid.

The groom’s parents are Bruce & Lori Thompson, Canton and Allen Miller, Buffalo.

Wendy attended Madrid Waddington Central School, graduating early in January 2005 with an advanced regents diploma. She is employed by Lavalle Transportation where she works as a Receptionist and Data Entry Clerk.

Troy attended Canton Central School, graduating in 2002. He graduated from SUNY Canton in 2005 with an associate’s degree in criminal justice.

He is a New York State Correctional Officer and currently is assigned to Upstate Correctional Facility in Malone until he is reassigned downstate to receive his promotion of Sergeant.

The wedding is planned for September 10, 2011.
