Nancy “Nan” H. Travis, 76, Potsdam

There will be no funeral service or calling hours for 76-year old Mrs. Nancy "Nan" H. Travis of Potsdam. Mrs. Travis died July 20, 2010 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. A private urn burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Parishville. Arrangements are with the Seymour Funeral Home in Potsdam.

She is survived by a son, Jason Travis of Potsdam; a daughter, Johnna Travis of Saugerties; a grandson, Ryley Travis of Potsdam; a granddaughter, Amanda Layaw of Surprise, Arizona; a sister-in-law, Betsy Travis of Potsdam; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, John "Jack" Travis.

Nancy was born in Utica, on August 26, 1933 the daughter of Robert and Jessie (Thomas) McRobbie. She was married to John C. Travis in Delmar, on June 13, 1959.

Nancy was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening.
