The groom's parents are Scott and Tania Sterling, 842 County Rt. 9, Gouverneur.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Gouverneur High School; SUNY Potsdam/Crane School of Music, B.M. (Bachelor of Music) in Music Education, December 2010; SUNY Potsdam/Crane School of Music, M.M. (Master of Music) in Music Education, Aug. 2011.

She is a music teacher at Madrid-Waddington Elementary School.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Gouverneur High School and he studied geology at SUNY Potsdam.

He is a residential habilitation assistant at St. Lawrence NYSARC, Dana St., Massena.

A July 14, 2012 wedding is planned.
