Canton, Winthrop, Potsdam, Massena, Ogdensburg viewers win North Country Now mugs

Six people will soon receive free mugs sporting the NorthCountryNow.com logo.

Nearly 1,000 NorthCountryNow.com viewers entered to win a mug during a nearly month-long online contest that ended Friday. The website is a service of North Country This Week.

The winners are Dorothy Grandaw of Canton, William E. Case of Canton, Vicki Beaudin of Winthrop, Linda Buchanan of Potsdam, Joshua Gleeson of Ogdensburg and Richard Paquin of Massena.

The white mugs are imprinted in dark purple and forest green, two of the colors featured on the website. The back of the mug lists 56 towns, villages, hamlets and the one city in St. Lawrence County.

The winners have been notified by e-mail and the mugs are being sent to their U.S. postal mailing address.

The mugs are also on sale for $6.95 each at the offices of North Country This Week, 19 Depot St., Potsdam. The office is open 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays.

The mugs will also soon be available for sale online at NorthCountryNow.com.
