Raquette River Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K planned in Potsdam March 25

POTSDAM -- The 2nd year of the Raquette River Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K will be held Saturday, March 25, at 43 Pine St., Potsdam.

Up to 200 runners are expected. M-n-M Entertainment will provide music at the event.

The four categories of races start at 9 a.m., and will run along the Raquette River on the River Road, starting and finishing at the Potsdam Arena.

There are cash prizes of $150-100-50 for 1-3rd place men and women.

Entry fee is $40 for marathon, $30 for half marathon, $20 for 10K, and $20 for 5K fun run.

Pre-registration is open at runsignup.com through March 23. Late registration will take place on race day from 7:30-8:45 am.

A Family Fitness, Fun, and Food Fair with around 25 vendors will be held at the arena from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Entry is free, and several food and wine vendors will be available. Sunshine TexMex food truck will sell meals to runners, spectators, and fair attendees.
