OGDENSBURG – Alondra Maldonado-Espinosa, a senior at Ogdensburg Free Academy has been named the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce February Student of the Month.
Alondra was nominated for the Student of the Month award by her Latin American studies teacher, Elizabeth Ladouceur. Ms. Ladoucer stated that, “Alondra is a student leader in Model UN, Latin American Studies, her art classes, and extracurricular activities. She is always willing to pitch in to assist the group, has excelled in Public Speaking, and is not afraid to share her ideas and opinions. Alondra is a great role model for her peers!” Alondra plans to attend SUNY Canton in the 3+3 Legal Studies Program then on to the University at Buffalo Law School.

She received a $25 check from Ed-Med Federal Credit Union, a Certificate of Achievement from OFA and a plaque from the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
