Hopkinton-Ft. Jackson Fire Department rabbit hunt planned March 18

HOPKINTON — Hopkinton-Ft. Jackson Fire Department will host its first annual rabbit hunt Saturday, March 18, at the station, 2876 State Highway 11B. Entry fee: $20, or $10 for ages 12-17.

Lucky rabbit prize drawing for adult and youth divisions.

Register early at Parishville Kunoco, Gray’s Gun Shop in Lisbon, Merriman’s in Norwood, Deno’s Guns in Brushton, Twin Pines in Nicholville, Steve Levac in Massena; or on the day of at the Hopkinton Fire Station 6 a.m.-1 p.m.

Food, raffles, 50/50.

General public welcome.

Prizes include 30-06 rifle, two 12-gauge shotguns and two 20-gauge shotguns for adults; or dirt bike, cash prizes and gift certificates to guns shops for youth.

Must be present to win.

Must be back at the fire station no later than 5 p.m. for raffles and prizes.
