Garage fire threatens Hammond home

HAMMOND — Firefighters are battling a blaze on County Route 6 early this morning.

The blaze was reported shortly after 5 a.m. at 1683 CR 6, according to St. Lawrence County Emergency Services.

The fire damaged a garage and was threatening to burn a nearby home as well.

No injuries have been reported.
