Judith A. Waite, 80, Massena

MASSENA- Judith A. Waite, 80, of 20 Pleasant Street, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Massena Hospital.

Judith was born on August 20, 1942 in Plainfield, NJ, daughter of the late Fred and Myrtle (Woodruff) McMullen. She married Kenneth F. Waite on December 24, 1975 in Elizabeth City, NC. Ken predeceased her in 2013.

Judith was a substance abuse counselor for the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe, and then volunteered for 17 years as a driver for St. Lawrence County. She was a longtime member of Al-Anon. She loved tending to her flower gardens, plants and especially her beloved rosebushes.

She is survived by sons, Matthew Raymo of Massena; and Thomas Waite of Charlotteville, VA; and one grandchild Ian Waite; and her brother Dennis McMullen of Culpeper, VA.

Judith was predeceased by her parents Fred and Myrtle.

Friends may call at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, Wednesday from 1-3PM with a prayer service at 3 p.m.

Memorial donation may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
