More snow expected for St. Lawrence County

Following the season’s first significant snowfall and reports of isolated freezing drizzle on Wednesday, St. Lawrence County residents can expect a little more snow and freezing drizzle tonight and into early Thursday morning.

High temperatures will remain in the upper 30s with 2 to 4 inches of snow forecasted for Friday.

A chance of snow showers and freezing drizzle before 4am, then a slight chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 26. West wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34. West wind 8 to 13 mph.

A 30 percent chance of snow showers after 4am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 19. West wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Snow showers, mainly after 7am. High near 37. Southwest wind 5 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches is possible.
