Foster parent informational meeting planned Nov. 9 in Canton

CANTON — The St. Lawrence County DSS is hosting a foster parent informational meeting on Nov. 9 from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at the St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services, 6 Judson St.

This meeting will allow people to learn more about the foster care program in St. Lawrence County and ask any questions they may have about becoming a foster parent.

The next MAPP/ GPS training classes to become a certified SLC DSS foster home is anticipated to start in early 2023.
