Organ concert series offered at St. Lawrence University

CANTON — The St. Lawrence University Office of the Chaplain presents the 2022-2023 Organ Concert Series & Special Events with several events slated in coming weeks at the Gunnison Memorial Chapel.

Scheduled performances by organist Sondra Goldsmith Proctor are:

• Friday, Nov. 4 at 12:15 p.m. Music of César Franck

• Friday, Dec. 2 at 12:15 p.m. Music for Christmas

• Friday, Jan. 27 at 12:15 p.m. Music of Northern Germany

• Friday, Feb. 3 at 12:15 p.m. Music for Black History Month featuring Women Composers

• Friday, March 10 at 12:15 p.m. Music of France and Belgium.

Upcoming special events:

• Friday, Oct. 28 at midnight Midnight in the Chapel for Halloween

• Saturday, April 1 from 1-6 p.m. The Johann Sebastian Bach Marathon

• Monday, April 17 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Remembrance of Yom HaShoah.
