Wine tasting dinner June 21 to benefit St. Mary's School in Canton

CANTON – St. Mary's School in Canton will hold its first “Wine Tasting Dinner" Tuesday, June 21 at the 1844 House on Rt. 11.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a cash bar with dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The six-course dinner consists of hors d' oeuvres, soup, sorbet, fish course, meat course and dessert with four different wines being served with the meal. The cost will be $100/plate with half the proceeds going to St. Mary's School.

Reservations may be made by calling Brian or Jenny Walker at The 1844 House at 268-1844 or stopping in at the restaurant. When reservations are made, dietary restrictions or vegetarian choice may be mentioned as well as payment.

Seating is limited to 70. Donation receipts will be given at the evening of the dinner for tax purposes.
