Helping Hands in Hannawa Falls receives $5,000 from Brookfield Power

HANNAWA FALLS — Brookfield Power employees recently held a golf outing to raise funds for Helping Hands OF Hannawa Falls.

The five employees from Brookfield each donated $500 to the organization, which will be matched with $2,500 from Brookfield.

"Helping Hands will be able to help 50 local families with their utility bills this winter, thanks to the generosity of these hardworking folks from Brookfield and the matching funds their employer kicks in," said Helping Hands Executive Director Tom Chappell.
