Norfolk Fire Department's annual auction & chicken BBQ Saturday

NORFOLK – The Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual auction and chicken barbecue Saturday, June 4. T

he barbecue begins at 11 a.m. and the auction will begin at noon at the station on Furnace Street. The cost is $7.50 and includes side dishes. Eat in and takeout are available.

Norfolk firefighters will deliver meals to the two senior citizen homes on High Street and will take orders that morning.

Paul Paige will be auctioneer. Local merchants and residents have donated items including two round-trip tickets from Cape Air.

The department auxiliary will also hold a bake sale and silent auction of baked goods. Hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages will be available throughout the day.
