News coverage during Civil War discussed at Civil War Roundtable in Canton Sunday

CANTON – Stan Maine will discuss local news coverage during the Civil War at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association’s next Civil War Roundtable at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 3 East Main St.

Maine is on the Board of Trustees of the St. Lawrence County Historical Association, chair of the Civil War Roundtable Committee, and also serves on the association's Civil War Sesquicentennial Commission.

This Civil War Roundtable program is part of the SLCHA's Commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, which began in 1861.
