Norwood festival fun for whole community

Kudos to the organizers, merchants, Norwood Brass Firemen and participants of the Norwood Village Christmas Parade and post-parade activities on Saturday, Dec. 12.

The floats were professionally and artistically rendered. Santa’s Rudolph, created by Ray Richards of the Hobby Shop, captured the attention of the smallest of revelers as well as the oldsters.

The horse-drawn hayride and Santa’s photo shop appeared to be overwhelmed.

The patient, enormous crowd awaited their turn enjoying hot chocolate, coffee and sweets while being warmed by the large bonfire which added to the yule tide scene.

Sunday evenings Christmas Cantata at St. Andrews Church with many local vocalists and musical director Christine Sullivan most eloquently provided a joyous seasonal finale.

Norwood is the place to be this holiday season.
