Potsdam couple takes first, second place in ADK photo contest

A Potsdam couple took first and second prizes in the Laurentian Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club’s 2nd Annual Photo Contest

Blair Madore of Potsdam received the First Prize award for his photograph "Descending Silver Lake Mountain".

Marg Madore, Blair's wife, received the Second Prize award for her photograph "Twin Falls Kayakers," making it a family affair.

The Third Prize award went to Art Boni, Ottawa, for his photo "Snowshoeing in the High Peaks."

Others receiving honorable mention were Nikki Coates, Potsdam, for her photograph "October Afternoon on Lows Ridge," and John Barron, Ottawa, for his photographs "Hurricane Jan. 2010 Group on Summit" and "Stone Valley May 2010."
