Community Performance Series to present 16th Ranlett Organ Recital Oct. 18

POTSDAM -- The Community Performance Series will present the 16th Ranlett Organ Recital on Sunday, Oct. 18 at 3 p.m., in Hosmer Hall featuring organist Craig Cramer.

The recital will also include a free organ encounter on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 3 p.m.

Craig Cramer is a professor of organ at the University of Notre Dame.

He is also organist at St. David of Wales Episcopal Church in Elkhart, Ind.

Cramer holds degrees from Westminster Choir College and the Eastman School of Music where he earned the doctor of musical arts degree in organ performance.

The Eastman School also awarded him the Performer’s Certificate in Organ. He has studied with Russell Saunders, William Hays, James Drake, David Boe and André Marchal (Paris).

Tickets for adults are $10. Senior, faculty or staff tickets are $6. Student tickets are free.
