Rosemarie J. (Laforce) Miller and Scott A. Miller of Madrid were united in marriage Aug. 28, 2010 at 2 p.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Canton, with Father Doug Lucia officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Elma J. Laforce, Massena, and the late Joseph H. Laforce.

The groom is the son of Cheryl E. Miller and Larry F. Miller of Madrid.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother.

Lectors were Judy Olin (sister of the bride), Patricia Bowman (sister of the bride) and Marcy Lavalley (sister of the groom).

The church musician was Ellie Bouvais.

The maid of honor was Kristin Miller (groom’s daughter) and flower girl was Tori Lavalley (groom‘s niece).

The best man was Jared Miller (Groom‘s son) and Nikolis Miller (groom’s son) was junior best man/ring bearer.

The reception was held at the Madrid Community Center. The couple rode from church in a 1933 Ford Model A car driven by Hugh Rood.

The honeymoon destination was Niagara Falls, Ontario.
