Katherine Boyd and Grant Tarsi

Franklin and Janet Boyd of Richville announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Boyd, to Grant Tarsi, son of Michael and Nancy Tarsi of Clinton, N.J.

Katherine is a 2007 graduate of Gouverneur Central School. She received a bachelor's degree in animal science from Cornell University in 2011 and is now attending the University of Glasgow in Scotland where she anticipates graduating with a doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2016.

Grant is a 2006 graduate of North Hunterdon High School. In 2010, he received his bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Cornell University and then went onto receive his master's degree in biomedical engineering from Cornell University in Dec. 2010.

He is employed as a consultant for the Michael Allen Company in Darien, Conn. and resides in New York City.

A Dec. 2015 wedding is planned.
