Stephen W. Marlow, beloved husband, father and son, 53, of Kennedy Avenue, Plattsburgh, formerly of Massena, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
He was born in Massena on August 1, 1957, the son of Peter and Phyllis (Treers) Marlow.
Stephen was employed as a supervisor for Fed-Ex Trade Networks in Champlain for 30 years.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing, walking his dogs and most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years Laura of Plattsburgh, his children; Joshua Marlow who is attending the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Bryan Marlow who attends SUNY Albany, Ashley Rose Marlow who is an 8th grade student at Stafford Middle School; his parents Peter and Phyllis Marlow of Massena; his siblings, Peter and Cynthia Marlow of Staatsburg, N.Y., Susan and Paul O’Connell of Plattsburgh, Laurie and Robert Sienkiewycz of Manlius, N.Y.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Rosanne Almasian of Massena, Bryan and Kendall Almasian of Williamsburg, Va.; his father in law, Anthony Almasian and companion Beverly Michaud of Massena; his nieces and nephews, Kacey Merhige, Lindsay O’Connell, Sasha and Anto Almasian, Anna and Elli Sienkiewycz, Holly and Kim Almasian, Jake and Elyse Marlow; and his pet dogs Lucy and Moogie.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Peter’s Church.
Memorial donations may be offered to the American Diabetes Foundation.
