Jodie (Wilson) Buchanan and Chris Buchanan

Jodie (Wilson) Buchanan and Chris Buchanan of Ballston Lake, N.Y., were married Aug. 28, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Clifton Park Elks Club with Judge James Hughes officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Pat Martin and Peter Burnham of Potsdam, and Tom Wilson of Louisville.

The groom is the son of John Buchanan of Ballston Lake and Bonny and John Klebeck, Melbourne, Fla.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother.

Maid of honor was Jamie Wilson, sister of the bride; matron of honor was Jessica Max, sister of the bride; bride’s maids were Elizabeth Griffin, friend of the bride, and Tara Gallant, friend of the bride.

The best man was John Buchanan, brother of the groom; groomsmen were Jesse Max, friend of the groom and brother-in-law of the bride, Larry Ruggles, friend of the groom, and Brad Cogan, friend of the groom.

The junior groomsman was Mason Buchanan, son of the groom; and the ring bearer was Zelak Max, nephew of the bride.

The reception was held at the Clifton Park Elks with DJ Tim Daignault of Jude Entertainment providing the music.

Jodie graduated from Madrid-Waddington High School in 2002 and earned a bachelor of science in business administration from SUNY Potsdam in 2006. She is sales and marketing coordinator for CommSoft in East Greenbush, N.Y.

Chris graduated from Shenendehowa High School in 2001. He is a self-employed contractor.
