Evan Jamison Fund jamboree at Dar's Restaurant in Massena Oct. 10

MASSENA – The Evan Jamison Fund will be hosting a benefit jamboree at Dar’s Restaurant at the Quality Inn Sunday, Oct. 10, starting at 1 p.m.

Several local businesses have donated items to be raffled off at the event.

The jamboree will feature live music provided by host band Out of The Blue and local bands Long Shot, Kickin’ Back, Sweet Revenge, Dirty Sister and more.

Evan was a 20-year-old Massena High School graduate and SUNY Plattsburgh student who died unexpectedly on Aug. 15, 2010.

To help his family with expenses and to support a scholarship in Evan’s honor, the Evan Jamison Fund is holding this fundraiser and a 3 on 3 basketball tournament at a later date. The basketball tournament will be an annual event in Evan’s honor.
