Michelle L. Rivers, 40, Rensselaer Falls

Michelle L. Rivers, 40, of Rensselaer Falls, died September 22, 2010, at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center, Allen-Nichols Funeral Home, Ogdensburg, in care of arrangements. Calling hours will be Friday, September 24th, 6 – 8 p.m, the funeral service will be Saturday, September 25th, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home Reverend William Hart officiating.

Michelle is survived by her husband Scott A. Rivers II; her son, Bailey Gordon Rivers; her mother, Carolyn Alkerton, Rensselaer Falls; and her sister, Annette Alkerton-Witkowski and her husband Michael Witkowski, of Rensselaer Falls.

She was predeceased by her father, Gordon Alkerton.

She was born April 27, 1970 at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, the child of Gordon and Carolyn Lincoln Alkerton. She graduated from Hugh C. Williams High School in 1988. She married Scott Rivers on August 23, 2003 at her family’s home, Town Justice Robert Camp officiating.

She loved doing crafts and spending time with her son. She enjoyed cooking, baking, bowling, animals, watching cooking shows, Survivor and wrestling on television.
