Funeral services for Winifred B. White, age 96, of 507 Chapman Street, Morristown, will be held on July 2, 2011 at Episcopal Christ Church in Morristown at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Robert Longbottom. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Morristown. Arrangements are with Frary Funeral Home. Mrs. White passed away on June 13, 2011 at United Helpers Nursing Home.

Mrs. White is survived by one nephew, William Byers and his wife Sandy of FL; her special friends, Janet Newtown and her husband John of Morristown; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one son, Richard Lynn White in 1964; and one brother, William Byers Sr.

Mrs. White was born on December 29, 1914 in Watertown, the daughter of William and Ethel Spinks Byers. She graduated from Morristown Central School in 1932. She graduated from Williams Business School in Brockville, Ontario. She married Harold White in Utica. He passed away in 1985. She worked for Morristown Central School District as a Secretary for many years.

Mrs. White enjoyed and loved dressing like a clown, performing at various parties, making people laugh.

Donations may be made in her memory in lieu of flowers to the Episcopal Christ Church and Morristown Fire Department.
