Funeral arrangement for William H. Griffith Jr. , 43, of the Forbes Road, Massena are through the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena. There will be no calling hours or funeral services. A memorial gathering may take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Surviving William are his fiancé Karena Grenstad, his mother, Donna Foote of Ogdensburg; step-mother Mary Lynn Griffith of Ogdensburg; a son, William H. III of Rochester, three daughters, Kristina Griffith of Canton, Taylor Griffith of Rochester and Paige Griffith of Ogdensburg; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Jody Griffith of Ogdensburg. William was predeceased by a brother, Jamey Griffith and his father, William H. Sr.

William was born in Massena, the son of William H. and Donna Foote Griffith Sr. William graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and attended Canton College for almost two years. He worked at various jobs until he decided on his career in Paramedics. He worked at many North Country Rescue Squads including Ogdensburg, Lake Placid, Canton, Seaway Valley in Massena and Massena Rescue. William worked his way up to become a National Registered Licensed Paramedic.
