Thomas John Bero “Rahontsiahawe”, age 6, of 370 Cook Road, passed away on Thursday evening, December 30, 2010 at Strong Memorial Hospital due to complications of a recent heart surgery. Thomas was born October 28, 2004 in Syracuse, the son of Thomas L. and Angela David Bero. He was a first grade student at Salmon River Central School.

Thomas loved life, could make friends with anyone, and had the ability to put a smile on anyone’s face. He was the Northern New York Ambassador Angel for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, having received his wish with a trip to Disney World. He was an avid race fan of both NASCAR and Mohawk International Raceway, loved football, playing with his many cars, and his cats. He loved super heroes and Spider Man was his biggest hero.

Thomas will by sadly missed by his parents, Thomas and Angela; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including, Pam and Woody Cook and their children, Katlyn and Noah, Corrina David and her son, Wishe, Willie and Laurie Bero and their children Deonna and Theoren, Kenny Bero and his children, Jessica and Lauren, and Stacey Bero.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Richard and Judy David and his paternal grandparents, George and Susan Bero.

Friends may call at the Akwesasne Homemaker’s, River Road, Snye, beginning Sunday 5 - 9:30 a.m., Tuesday. A Mass of Angels will be celebrated Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at St. Regis Catholic Church with Rev. George H. Belgarde, S.J., celebrating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hogansburg.
